Team Building Event H&M Hennes & Mauritz B.V. & Co. KG
Mitte never fails to surprise with unexpected corners, vibrant history and urban charm.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading a Geocaching event for the 24 colleagues from H&M Hennes & Mauritz B.V. & Co. KG on 10.10.2024 at 11:00. The meeting point was the courtyard of the Hackesche Höfe Kino on Rosenthaler Straße — an ideal place to kick off the adventure. After a short welcome and introduction I explained the schedule, handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app and wished everyone good luck for the tour.
The group was split into four teams and set off: pure team building experience in Mitte. The teams were on their own during the tour and competed in friendly rivalry to earn the most points. The mix of puzzles, creative team tasks and clue-hunting not only kept things varied but also strengthened team cohesion — exactly what a team building experience in Mitte is about. I stayed available by phone at all times in case any questions came up.
The weather cooperated as well — a light drizzle added atmosphere and boosted team spirit rather than dampening the fun. The route led teams past some well-known sights and hidden spots: a few stations evoked the Brandenburg Gate, Museum Island and the Berlin Cathedral, while participants kept discovering new things about the city. Our Geocaching tour combined sightseeing with clever challenges, offering a lively form of team building experience in Mitte.
After 2.5 hours everyone met back in the Hackesche Höfe Kino courtyard for the award ceremony. The winning team Workaholics finished with 240 points, closely followed by the Power Rangers with 210 points and Old but Gold with 180 points. The top three received well-deserved medals and plenty of applause.
Events like this show how much joy and motivation shared discovery can bring. Geocaching in Mitte combines adventure, learning and real team dynamics — an experience that the colleagues from H&M will remember fondly for a long time.
