Team Building Event BAUHAUS AG
The 19 colleagues from BAUHAUS AG were full of energy and curiosity when they met on September 26, 2024 at 3:00 PM for the Murder Mystery Geocaching tour.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at the rear of the main church St. Petri and gave a brief introduction to the proceedings. After a short briefing the participants were divided into three teams and each received a tablet. The app led the teams to exciting cases and striking locations — a perfect mix of technology, puzzle fun and city exploration.
Then it began: a team building experience in Old Town at its most active. The teams were on their own, gathering clues, solving puzzles and completing creative team tasks. Along the way we passed famous sights, including the Elbphilharmonie, the Speicherstadt and the main church St. Michaelis, each seen from a fresh perspective. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose.
The competitive spirit was palpable and produced many smiling faces and genuine aha moments. Points were awarded for correctly solved clues and successful team actions, and a strong sense of togetherness developed almost automatically. A team building experience in Old Town shows itself in moments like these: making decisions together, communicating under time pressure and celebrating small victories as a group.
After exactly two hours all teams met again at the same spot by the rear of the main church St. Petri for the award ceremony. In great weather and high spirits I announced the winners: Old Town Holmes claimed first place with an impressive 1950 points. In second place was team Monk with 180 points, closely followed by Feuerdrache in third with 180 points as well.
As a team guide it was a real pleasure to see how much fun the colleagues had and how much the event strengthened their cohesion.
