Team Building Event beeline GmbH
Cologne delights with its vibrant mix of history and modern energy – and that is exactly what we experienced yesterday at an exciting event.
On September 26, 2024 at 1:30 pm I, as a CityHunters team guide, met the 28 participants from beeline GmbH at Kennedy-Ufer. After a brief welcome and introduction we got started: the group was divided into four teams, given tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app and all the important information for the tour. That is how our interactive Geocaching adventure began, once again showing how much fun a team building experience in Cologne can be.
Over the next two and a half hours the teams moved through the city on their own, discovering corners and sights such as Cologne Cathedral, the Hohenzollern Bridge and the Museum Ludwig while collecting points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing team tasks – creative approaches and good communication were particularly rewarded. I was available by phone throughout in case any questions or issues arose.
The weather cooperated and the mood was both lively and focused. It is always impressive to see how a team building experience in Cologne brings people together: colleagues supported one another, laughed about tricky challenges and celebrated small successes along the way.
After 2.5 hours all teams reconvened at Kennedy-Ufer for the awards ceremony. The moment of suspense and applause is one of my favorite parts as a guide. First place went to team True Detectives with 255 points. In second place were the Eggmeister with 240 points, closely followed by the Beewinners in third with 225 points. Congratulations to the winners and kudos to all participants for their great effort.
Geocaching with CityHunters is more than a Scavenger Hunt: it is a lively experience that combines exploration, puzzle fun and working together. For anyone looking for a team building experience in Cologne, this is an active, joyful and sustainable way to bring colleagues closer together while taking in many impressions of this beautiful city.
