Team Building Event a2 consulting
On 23.09.2024 at 10:15 I had the pleasure of guiding a Geocaching event for 13 employees of a2 consulting in Kiel. We met at Alter Markt — a perfect spot to kick off together and feel the excitement for the adventure. After a brief introduction I split the group into three teams and explained the rules of the game.
Our Geocaching in Kiel began with the teams setting off equipped with tablets and the CityHunters app, following coordinates and discovering interesting spots in the heart of Kiel. The route took us past landmarks such as Kunsthalle Kiel, Nikolaikirche and the Hörnbrücke — always accompanied by small puzzles and creative team tasks. This combines sightseeing with hands-on participation and makes a team building experience in Kiel something that promotes both fun and cooperation.
During the tour the teams worked independently and competed in a friendly challenge to collect the most points. Points were awarded for solving puzzles correctly and completing tasks together. I remained reachable by phone the whole time in case of questions or technical issues, allowing me to quietly support from the background without interrupting the fun.
After two hours everyone met again at Alter Markt for the awards ceremony. The weather cooperated — bright skies and pleasant temperatures — perfect conditions for a successful company event. Tension was high when the results were announced: first place went to the team Die roten Mappen with 285 points, followed by Fanta 4! with 195 points and Lachmöwe with 165 points. Congratulations to all teams for their great performances!
Experiences like this show how effective a team building experience in Kiel can be: discovering, solving puzzles, laughing and celebrating small victories together. As a team guide what stands out most is the lively dynamic — motivated colleagues who rely on each other and enjoy themselves.
