Team Building Event Mannheim Business School
The weather that afternoon was simply perfect – sunny, mild and ideal for a walk through the city.
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of welcoming 34 enthusiastic participants from Mannheim Business School at the Baroque Palace Mannheim on September 20, 2024 at 3:30 PM. After a short introduction we split into six teams and the excitement grew: a team building experience in Mannheim was on the agenda.
Armed with tablets and our app, we set off. The challenges led the teams past well-known city spots such as Mannheim Palace, the Kunsthalle Mannheim and the Jesuit Church, offering the perfect mix of puzzles, navigation and small team challenges. Participants got to know Mannheim in a new, interactive way and discovered hidden corners, stories and surprising details.
During the tour the teams were on their own and engaged in friendly competition for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing group tasks. I remained reachable by phone throughout the route in case anyone needed help – but most of the time a quick look within the team was enough to spark creative solutions. The team building experience in Mannheim showed itself at its best that afternoon: collaboration, communication and shared fun were at the heart of it.
After exactly three hours all groups gathered again at the Baroque Palace Mannheim for the award ceremony. The mood was jubilant when the results were announced. Special praise went to the team winner – our winning team with 0 points.
Experiences like this bring people together: Geocaching combines adventure, competition and shared moments – ideal for a team building experience in Mannheim. Whether exploring museums like the Reiss-Engelhorn Museums or taking a short detour to the National Theatre Mannheim, every stop provided topics for conversation and moments of shared success.
