Team Building Event KiFaZ Franzikus
Fifteen participants from the company KiFaZ Franzikus met on September 20, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at the Kunstgebäude at Schlossplatz for a special team building event.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to Murder Mystery Geocaching. After the briefing the participants were split into three teams and handed tablets with the app that guided them through our interactive murder mystery. The app displayed the next crime scenes in Stuttgart and presented tricky cases to solve together — a wonderful example of a team building experience in Stuttgart.
The teams set off on their own and explored well-known spots such as the Staatsgalerie, the Old Castle and the Stiftskirche. At several stations they encountered puzzles, observation tasks and team challenges where points could be earned. The city center sights invited everyone to discover Stuttgart from a new perspective and to explore the city in a playful way.
I was reachable by phone during the tour in case any technical questions or task clarifications came up. The participants worked with focus, laughed a lot and showed great team spirit — exactly what we imagine a team building experience in Stuttgart to be. The weather played along, so the route was completed in high spirits.
After three hours all teams met again at the Kunstgebäude at Schlossplatz for the joint awards ceremony. The scoreboard showed how close and exciting the competition was: first place went to Team Zoff! with 285 points, followed by Team Error404 with 240 points, and Team Die Opfers came third with 225 points. Congratulations to the winners and a big compliment to all teams for their commitment and creative collaboration.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching combines excitement with active learning and strengthens team cohesion in a playful way. Whether deciphering clues at historic locations or solving team challenges together — experiences like these are ideal for a successful team building experience in Stuttgart.
I am already looking forward to the next event and to guiding colleagues through the lively city again — perhaps past Schlossplatz, the Staatsgalerie or even the Stuttgart Stock Exchange.
