Team Building Event Pfalzwerke AG
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming a fantastic group of 26 colleagues from Pfalzwerke AG on 19.09.2024 at 3:30 pm. We met at the Baroque Palace Mannheim by the monument to Karl Ludwig of the Palatinate — a beautiful, central starting point for our shared adventure. After a brief introduction the participants were split into five teams and got ready with our tablets and the CityHunters app for a real team building experience.
Then the group set off: pure team building experience in Mannheim. The teams were largely on their own during the tour and competed directly for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for creative team tasks that called for teamwork communication and ingenuity. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues came up.
The route took the teams through Mannheim’s lively city center past well known sights like the Kunsthalle Mannheim the National Theatre Mannheim and other interesting spots. It is exactly this mix of culture discovery and small puzzles that makes our team building experience in Mannheim so special: you get to see the city in a playful way and discover corners that are easily missed on a normal walk.
The weather was perfect and the mood was upbeat and energetic. It was impressive to see how different strengths came together: some people cracked codes in no time others impressed with creative solutions and strong organization. Those shared successes not only boost team spirit they are also a lot of fun — exactly what team building experience in Mannheim stands for.
After exactly two hours all teams met again at the Baroque Palace for the awards ceremony. The overall winners were the team Sunshine with 240 points. In second place came Diebesten with 210 points closely followed by Die Feuerfedern also with 210 points. The short ceremonial prize giving rounded off the afternoon beautifully.
For me it was another complete success: a motivated group a great atmosphere and many smiling faces. Anyone who wants to experience team building in Mannheim will find fun adventure and genuine camaraderie — an experience that lasts long after the event.
