Team Building Event Steuerkanzlei Gernot Wölfel, Forchheim
The weather was perfect and put everyone in great spirits at our Geocaching event in Regensburg.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed eleven colleagues from the tax firm Gernot Wölfel from Forchheim on 18 September 2024 at 2:00 PM. The meeting point was the restaurant Weltenburger am Dom on Domplatz, an ideal place to start the adventure. After a short introduction and dividing into two enthusiastic teams, we set off: a team building experience in Regensburg at its most active and exciting.
Using digital devices and our app, the teams explored the Old Town, passing impressive sights such as Regensburg Cathedral, the Stone Bridge and the Old Town Hall. The tasks demanded creativity, problem solving and communication: puzzles, observation assignments and small team challenges where every voice counted. During the tour the groups were on their own and competed for the most points; I stayed reachable by phone in case any questions came up.
The competition noticeably strengthened the bond between colleagues and produced plenty of laughs and aha moments. The mix of city discovery and joint problem solving is what makes our concept for a team building experience in Regensburg so effective: you get to know the city in a new way while also boosting the sense of togetherness.
After two entertaining hours everyone met again at the restaurant Weltenburger am Dom for the awards ceremony. The winning team was Die handelnilanz with 150 points, closely followed by Is doch wurscht with 120 points. The excitement over the results and the final group roundup rounded off the afternoon perfectly.
Geocaching combines sightseeing, fun and collaboration — whether along Cathedral Island, at the Stone Bridge or with a quick glance toward the Benedictine Abbey of St Emmeram, Regensburg always enchants. This event once again showed how much energy and motivation a team building experience in Regensburg can release. I am already looking forward to the next adventure with new groups in this beautiful city.
