Team Building Event ebm-papst St. Georgen GmbH & Co. KG

The 25 participants from ebm-papst St. Georgen GmbH & Co. KG gathered right on time at the Troedelmarkt, excited for our iPad Tour through Nuremberg.

As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group at 9:30 AM and gave a short introduction to the technology and the schedule. After a brief rundown on using the iPads and our app, the participants were split into four teams and each team received an iPad as the focal point of the tour. That kicked off a special blend of modern high-tech Scavenger Hunt and city exploration — exactly what a successful team building experience in Nuremberg looks like.

Over the next three hours the teams made their own way through the city center, discovered sights like Nuremberg Castle, the Frauenkirche and the Albrecht Dürer House, and solved tricky puzzles and creative team challenges at various stations. The CityHunters App linked all groups in real time, displayed interim scores and provided a motivating live chat — ideal for collaborating while testing strengths in friendly competition. I stayed reachable by phone throughout the tour in case anyone needed assistance.

The weather cooperated, spirits and energy were high, and it was clear everywhere how well these shared challenges strengthen togetherness. Our iPad Tour combined the city’s history and culture with playful teamwork, creating a lasting team building experience in Nuremberg. At the end everyone met back at the Troedelmarkt for the award ceremony.

With 140 points the team Nuremberg pros took first place, followed by Team Gedik with 130 points and Mach1 with 110 points. Congratulations to all teams for their commitment and team spirit. A team building experience in Nuremberg works just like this: active, connecting and full of shared memories that last well beyond the day.
