Team Building Event Dr. Schröder & Partner m. b. B.

Our 24 participants from Dr. Schröder & Partner m. b. B. met on September 13, 2024 at 12:30 pm in high spirits for a joint Murder Mystery Geocaching tour in Old Town.

As team guide I welcomed the group at the rear of the main church Sankt Petri. After a short introduction the participants were split into five teams and familiarized with the app on the provided tablets. The mix of digital support and real-world locations turns our interactive Murder Mystery into a thrilling team building experience in Old Town: collecting clues, analyzing traces and solving tasks together — this event is made exactly for that.

The teams set off and explored the city on their own. During the tour the tasks led the groups near the Elbphilharmonie and through parts of the historic Speicherstadt; the distinctive panorama around the main church St. Michaelis also cropped up repeatedly in the cases. Each stop offered a chance to puzzle things out together and find creative solutions. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks — speed alone was not enough, cooperation was required.

I was reachable by phone throughout the game in case any team needed support. After 2.5 hours all groups returned to the rear of the main church Sankt Petri for the final round to review the results and celebrate the awards. The weather cooperated and the mood was cheerful and relaxed — just the right mix for an effective team building experience in Old Town.

Results: the winner was team Lila with 270 points, followed by Goldmedaille with 225 points and The Green Horns with 210 points. Congratulations to all teams — the shared success and the many little aha moments showed how well experiences like this strengthen team spirit.

Events like this offer fun, excitement and genuine team development: a perfect format for company events and company outings in Old Town that lets participants experience the city from a new perspective.
