Team Building Event Story House Egmont
The 16 participants from Story House Egmont met on September 12, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Palais am Festungsgraben, ready for an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching through Berlin.
As the team guide I welcomed the group with a short introduction and split them into three teams. Each team received tablets with a dedicated app that presented the cases and locations and guided their route through the city. Right from the start it was clear this would be about brains, communication and joint strategy – a real team building experience in Berlin.
The teams set off to search for clues and were on their own during the tour. In a friendly competition they collected points by solving puzzles and completing team challenges. I was available by phone throughout the game in case questions or technical issues arose, but I deliberately stayed in the background so the groups could operate independently.
The route took the groups past well-known sights such as the Reichstag building, the Brandenburg Gate and Museum Island, continually offering new perspectives on the city. Murder Mystery Geocaching turned familiar places into crime scenes full of riddles, creating many aha moments and plenty of conversation – a vivid example of how varied a team building experience in Berlin can be.
After three hours all teams reconvened at the Palais am Festungsgraben for the joint awards ceremony. Excitement ran high when the winning team Fieselschweif was announced with 285 points. In second place came Panzerknacker with 255 points, and third place went to Phantomias with 195 points. The good weather and the participants' high motivation made the return particularly lively.
Events like this combine play, strategy and communication and promote cohesion in a playful way – exactly what a team building experience in Berlin stands for. It was a pleasure for me to accompany these moments and to see how much energy and team spirit were released.
