Team Building Event NLBV
39 enthusiastic colleagues from NLBV met on 11 September 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at Opernplatz in Hanover to step into the role of investigators together.
As team guide I welcomed the group and introduced them to our Murder Mystery Geocaching. After a short briefing the participants were split into seven teams and shown how to use the tablets, where the special app presented the cases and clues. Thus began an exciting tour around Hanover, focused on fun, communication and an effective team building experience.
Our route took the teams past well-known landmarks: from the impressive New Town Hall and the venerable Market Church to the Leineschloss, the groups discovered the city from a new perspective. The sights became the scenes of mysterious cases where puzzles had to be solved and team tasks completed together. It wasn't just speed that mattered but creative thinking and good cooperation, the core of every successful team building experience in Hanover.
During the roughly two-and-a-half-hour tour the teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks. I was available by phone the entire time in case help was needed or technical questions arose.
In beautiful weather everyone gathered back at Opernplatz after 2.5 hours for a joint debriefing and awards ceremony. The mood was jubilant and proud: the winning team Tricolore took first place with 270 points. In second place was Muffincakes with 255 points, followed by Schönes Wetter with 240 points.
This Murder Mystery Geocaching once again demonstrated how much fun solving puzzles together can be and how effective a team building experience in Hanover can be. Whether as a company outing or a regular team building event, such experiences strengthen cohesion and remain memorable for a long time. I am already looking forward to the next time we use Hanover again as a stage for collaboration and exciting adventures.
