Team Building Event Tyco Electronics Raychem GmbH
Our Murder Mystery Geocaching blends city exploration, puzzle fun and teamwork into an exciting event concept that shows Old Town from a whole new perspective.
On September 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM I, as the team guide, met the 12 participants from Tyco Electronics Raychem GmbH at Max-Joseph-Platz. After a brief introduction to the format and story, the colleagues were split into two teams and equipped with tablets. The app guided the teams to various crime scenes in Old Town and presented the tricky cases they had to solve.
In pleasant, fairly decent weather the teams set off on their own, passing well-known sights such as the Frauenkirche, the New Town Hall and the Deutsches Museum. Time and again they collected clues, analyzed evidence and completed team tasks. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed challenges, creating an exciting competition for the highest score. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or technical issues arose.
The game concept combines modern technology with classic detective flair: tablet, app and the city experienced live make this format a perfect mix of adventure and strategy. This makes a team building experience in Old Town not just theoretical but practical and tangible — communication, role allocation and joint decision-making were front and center and generated lots of fun and energy.
After exactly three hours all teams returned to Max-Joseph-Platz for the joint awards ceremony. First place was taken by the team WirHabenConni31 with an impressive 240 points, closely followed by Klatsch in die Hand with 195 points. The atmosphere during the review was lively and proud — exactly what a good team building experience in Old Town is all about.
As a team guide I am always pleased to see how much these events strengthen cohesion and open up new perspectives on the city. For everyone involved it was a lively, motivating experience: a team building experience in Old Town that excites, connects and leaves a lasting impression.
