Team Building Event Veit Dennert KG
Our Geocaching event blends adventure, puzzle fun and team spirit into an exciting city experience — exactly what a team building experience in Bamberg is all about. On September 4, 2024 at 12:30 pm I, as the CityHunters team guide, welcomed the 27 participants from Veit Dennert KG at the Tourist Information at Schloss Geyerswoerth. After a brief introduction and handing out our tablets with the CityHunters app, I split the group into four teams and explained how the tour would work.
Then we were off: the teams set out through historic Bamberg, competing to collect the most points. At stations around Bamberg Cathedral, the Old Town Hall and Michelsberg Abbey the groups solved tricky puzzles and tackled joint team challenges. Points were awarded for correctly completed tasks, clever cooperation and creative solutions — naturally creating a team building experience in Bamberg that is both fun and connecting.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own; I was available by phone to help if questions or difficulties arose. The weather cooperated, with sunshine putting everyone in a great mood. It was lovely to see colleagues contribute different strengths, laugh together and encourage one another — that is exactly how a lasting team building experience in Bamberg works.
After three hours we met back at the Tourist Information at Schloss Geyerswoerth for the award ceremony. The cheers went to the winning team Die gelbe Gefahr with 375 points, followed by 007 with 345 points and Team 1 in third place with 270 points. The atmosphere at the prize giving was relaxed and joyful — a perfect ending to an exciting afternoon.
This Geocaching format demonstrates that a team building experience in Bamberg can be playful, active and highly sustainable. For me as a guide it is always a pleasure to accompany teams on such a tour and to watch experimenting, collaborative problem solving and the beautiful city of Bamberg come together into an unforgettable experience.
