Team Building Event Kautex Textron GmbH
Bonn delights with its blend of history, culture and urban energy, making it the perfect backdrop for a team building experience in Bonn.
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of leading the iPad Tour on August 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM for 12 participants from Kautex Textron GmbH. We met at the entrance of the Schlosskirche, where I welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and our CityHunters app. The participants were then split into four teams and the head-to-head race began.
The tour combined modern technology with the city experience: teams navigated through Bonn, solved puzzles at well-known spots and tackled creative team tasks. They encountered sights like Beethoven-Haus, the Bonner Münster and Poppelsdorfer Schloss — perfect locations for exciting challenges and conversation starters. Our app linked the groups in real time, displayed scores and enabled a motivating live exchange.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own and showed excellent collaboration. I remained reachable by phone throughout in case any questions or technical issues came up. The mix of competition, communication and shared achievements noticeably strengthened the team building experience in Bonn: ideas were exchanged, roles emerged and successes were celebrated together.
After two hours everyone regrouped at the entrance of the Schlosskirche for the award ceremony. The podium was fiercely contested: first place went to team No#1 with 155 points. In second place Die blauen Affen also scored 155 points — a close result that kept the suspense until the end. Third place went to Lost Hunter with 133 points. The weather was perfect and helped keep spirits high.
Experiences like this show how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Bonn can be. The iPad Tour blends culture, technology and team spirit into a lasting experience that resonates long after the event.
