Team Building Event Bundesarchiv

The weather was beautiful and provided the perfect backdrop for our Geocaching day in Mitte.

On the morning of August 28, 2024 at 10:00 I met the 18 participants from the Bundesarchiv on Rathausstraße, ready for a high-energy adventure. After a warm welcome and a short briefing I explained the schedule and the technology: the teams received the necessary tools and an introduction to the app so everyone could start the tour well prepared.

We formed three teams who then set off across the city on their own. It is always a pleasure to see how quickly group dynamics develop: ideas were exchanged, strategies were formed and each person contributed their strengths. The challenges ranged from tricky puzzles to creative team tasks — ideal ingredients for a successful team building experience in Mitte.

I remained available by phone throughout the entire tour in case any questions or technical problems arose. The teams navigated independently, discovered hidden corners and experienced Mitte from a playful perspective. Landmarks such as the Brandenburger Tor, the Museumsinsel and the Berliner Dom served as an atmospheric backdrop and sparked conversation and wonder.

After exactly three hours everyone met again on Rathausstraße for the awards ceremony. The excitement was high: points were awarded for correct solutions and successfully completed team tasks — a real competitive spirit that at the same time strengthened cohesion. Team building experience in Mitte truly shows its strengths when collaboration meets a spirit of discovery.

The winning team Neptungang secured first place with 270 points. In second place was Avengers, also with 270 points, closely followed by Neptun in third with 225 points. Every podium place was well earned, and the joy over shared success was clearly tangible.

Events like this prove time and again that Geocaching combines fun, competition and a sustainable team building experience in Mitte. I am already looking forward to the next tour and to giving more teams the chance to discover the city in new ways.
