Team Building Event Kautex Textron GmbH

Bonn welcomes visitors with history, culture and a friendly atmosphere — perfect for active city exploration and shared experiences.

As a team guide for CityHunters, I had the pleasure of leading a Murder Mystery Geocaching for Kautex Textron GmbH on August 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM. The 20 participants met at the entrance to the Schlosskirche; after a brief greeting we split into four teams. The mood was eager and excited — ideal for a team building experience in Bonn.

After a compact introduction the teams received the tech: tablets with our app guided the groups to various crime scenes around the city center. Technology and adventure blended into a vivid experience, turning familiar spots like Bonn Minster, the Beethoven House and Poppelsdorf Palace into stages for thrilling puzzles. Along the way there were short team tasks that called for collaboration and creative thinking.

During the tour the teams were largely on their own and competed against each other in good spirit. Points were earned for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks — focus, communication and speed made the difference. I remained reachable by phone throughout the game to help with questions or technical hiccups so the groups could continue their investigations smoothly.

In perfect weather all teams returned to the entrance of the Schlosskirche after exactly two hours. The atmosphere at the awards ceremony was high-spirited: winner was team FANTA4 with 180 points, closely followed by Gozilla with also 180 points, and third place went to Inspektor BVB with 165 points. Moments like these show how a shared experience really brings people together.

Murder Mystery Geocaching combines suspense, fun and a genuine team building experience in Bonn — ideal for companies looking to rediscover their colleagues. Whether cultural stops, surprising puzzles or the shared hunt for clues, this format makes Bonn tangible and brings teams closer.

I’m already looking forward to the next trail of clues and to leading another team building experience in Bonn with such motivated groups. If you’re curious, I’d be happy to show how lively and varied city exploration can be.
