Team Building Event Union IT-Services GmbH
As a team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed a lively group of 26 people from Union IT-Services GmbH on 27 August 2024 at 3:00 PM. We met behind the main church St. Petri — an ideal starting point to set off on an exciting adventure. After a short briefing we split the participants into four teams and handed out tablets with the CityHunters app so each group was fully prepared to begin exploring Old Town.
The atmosphere was upbeat from the first moment: a team building experience in Old Town was clearly the focus. The teams moved independently through the city center, solving puzzles and completing team tasks to collect points. The challenges led the groups to well-known sights such as the Elbphilharmonie, through the atmospheric alleys of the Speicherstadt and past the striking Chilehaus. That mix of sightseeing and brainteasers turned the event into a real experience.
During the tour the teams competed for the highest score; I was reachable by phone and provided support when needed. It was great to see how different strengths were used across the groups: creative ideas, clear communication and quick decisions regularly added points to the scoreboard. The shared laughter over solved tasks and the little aha moments made the team building experience in Old Town tangible and memorable.
After about two and a half hours everyone met again behind St. Petri for the awards ceremony. The winning team Fimtastic secured first place with 270 points, followed by UTWO with 255 points and Treasure Tracker with 225 points. With perfect weather the award ceremony was a cheerful conclusion to an intense afternoon.
This event once again showed how well a team building experience in Old Town and exploring together go hand in hand.
