Team Building Event Aurelis Real Estate GmbH
As a CityHunters teamguide I had the pleasure on July 25, 2024 at 4:30 PM of leading a fantastic iPad Tour for 13 colleagues from Aurelis Real Estate GmbH in Frankfurt. The meeting point was Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz, and from there our shared adventure through the city center began. The mood was positive from the start, full of anticipation for the team building experience in Frankfurt.
After a short briefing on how to use the iPads and the CityHunters app I divided the group into three teams. Each team received an iPad as the hub for the high-tech Scavenger Hunt. Then the groups set off: apart but connected via the app, which displayed points in real time and provided a motivating live chat. What began as city exploration soon turned into a real team building experience in Frankfurt.
The tasks took the teams to well-known spots and sights such as the Römer, St. Bartholomew's Cathedral (Kaiserdom St. Bartholomäus) and the Alte Oper. At each station they solved puzzles, completed creative team challenges and put their powers of observation to the test. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour to help with questions — otherwise the teams could concentrate fully on strategy and cooperation.
After about 2.25 hours everyone met again at Friedrich-Stoltze-Platz for the award ceremony. The competition stayed exciting until the very last minute: the winning team was TOM with 125 points, followed by Die Assis also with 125 points, and in third place 100 Punkte with 120 points. All participants received personalized certificates as mementos of a successful team day.
The weather cooperated perfectly and the atmosphere was fun and collegial. The iPad Tour combines modern technology with playful competition and strengthens cohesion in a lasting way — an ideal format for a team building experience in Frankfurt. As a teamguide I am always impressed by how much energy and creativity such an event releases. Anyone wanting to experience Frankfurt from a different angle will find this tour to be a lively mix of culture, challenge and great team spirit.
