Team Building Event Treukontax Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH
Old Town never fails to impress with its mix of historic squares and vibrant urban culture — a fantastic backdrop for a team building experience. On July 22, 2024 I had the pleasure, as a CityHunters team guide, of leading a special iPad Murder Mystery Tour for Treukontax Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, which started promptly at 1:30 PM at Frauenplatz.
The 36 participants gathered at Frauenplatz, where I gave a brief welcome and divided them into seven teams. Each team received an iPad with our CityHunters app, including a map view and position tracking. After a short briefing we set off: past landmarks such as the Frauenkirche, the Neues Rathaus and the Deutsches Museum, always on the trail of mysterious cases.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and team tasks — creativity, communication and speed paid off. I remained reachable by phone throughout the game in case of questions or technical issues, otherwise the groups could set their own pace. The weather was pleasant and accompanied us nicely, perfect for exciting discovery tours through Old Town.
After 2.5 hours all teams met back at Frauenplatz for the well-deserved award ceremony. The leaderboard was close: first place went to team Gehaltserhöhung with 133 points, closely followed by Warmduscher with 132 points and team 3 with 130 points. The top three teams received medals — a proud moment for the winners and a great finale for everyone involved.
Events like this demonstrate how effective a team building experience in Old Town can be: you discover the city anew, strengthen the sense of togetherness and most importantly have fun together. Whether following clues at the Residenz, solving puzzles near the Theatinerkirche or enjoying relaxed conversations at the finish — a team building experience in Old Town remains a vivid memory. I look forward to many more exciting tours in Old Town with motivated groups!
