Team Building Event Dachser
As a team guide for CityHunters I had the pleasure of leading an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching for 20 employees of Dachser on 22 July 2024 in Mitte. The meeting point was the Palais am Festungsgraben, where I greeted the group and divided the participants into five teams. After a short briefing and handing out the tablets with our custom app, the adventure began: an interactive Murder Mystery Geocaching experience that turned the city into a stage for tricky puzzles and team challenges.
During the tour the teams were largely on their own, competing in a friendly rivalry for the most points. The app guided them to various crime scenes and notable spots in Mitte – past the Reichstag, across Museum Island and up to the Brandenburg Gate – challenging them to collect clues, analyze evidence and make decisions together. Technology met adventure: the tablet was the central tool that directed the flow and kept the excitement high.
It was especially rewarding to see how the groups quickly gelled, communicated and encouraged one another. That is exactly what makes our team building experience in Mitte so effective: playful competition, joint problem-solving and seeing the city from a fresh perspective. I was reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any support was needed, but most challenges were handled confidently by the teams themselves.
After exactly three hours everyone met back at the Palais am Festungsgraben for the awards ceremony. In sunny weather the results were announced: winners and shining champions were the team Blau Gelb B016 with 270 points. In second place was Team 3 with 255 points, followed by Die Besserwisser in third, also with 255 points. The tension during the counting was palpable and the atmosphere was jubilant – a great finale to an intense experience.
