Team Building Event Ysura GmbH
Our iPad Tour combines cutting-edge technology with playful competition, making a team building experience in Innsbruck come alive.
On 18.07.2024 at 2:30 p.m. I had the pleasure of welcoming the 21 participants from Ysura GmbH to Landhausplatz as their team guide. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, colleagues were split into four teams and the adventure began.
The tour took the groups through the heart of Innsbruck, offering charming encounters with the city along the way: past the Golden Roof, through narrow streets with views of the Hofburg, and via small detours that passed St. James's Cathedral and the University of Innsbruck. At each stop, interactive tasks and puzzles awaited, fostering not only powers of observation but above all communication and creativity — exactly what a strong team building experience in Innsbruck is all about.
Throughout the tour, teams were largely on their own, competing for the most points awarded for correctly solved puzzles and collaborative team challenges. The CityHunters app connected all groups in real time, showed the scores and provided a motivating live chat. I remained reachable by phone to help with technical questions or any uncertainties.
The weather cooperated perfectly, leaving the atmosphere both exuberant and focused. It was wonderful to see teams develop strategies, coordinate with one another, and laugh together — real team building experience in Innsbruck, tangible and immediate.
After roughly two and a half hours everyone met again at Landhausplatz for the awards ceremony. With great applause the winning team Innsane was honored — a result that generated plenty of conversation and good spirits, since points do not always tell the whole story of team cohesion.
