Team Building Event UnternehmerTUM Venture Capital Partners GmbH
On July 18, 2024 at 3:00 pm, 32 motivated participants from UnternehmerTUM Venture Capital Partners GmbH met at the Hotel zum Hirschen on Elisabethstraße, ready for an active team building experience in Salzburg.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and our app, and explained the team setup. From the 32 participants we formed five like-minded groups, which set off on a two-hour iPad Tour through Salzburg's city center. Our high-tech Scavenger Hunt blends playful challenges with urban discovery — the perfect team building experience in Salzburg.
The route took the teams past well-known sights: a view of Hohensalzburg Fortress, quick puzzles around Salzburg Cathedral, and creative tasks at Mirabell Palace provided variety. The iPads served as the central hub: navigation, task display and scoring all ran through the app, keeping the experience modern and interactive.
During the tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly rivalry. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and creative team tasks — strategy, communication and good spirits were needed. I was reachable by phone to help with questions, but the groups solved most challenges independently.
The weather cooperated wonderfully, which lifted everyone's mood. Concentrated faces solving tasks, loud laughter during group challenges and the positive competitive spirit were visible everywhere, creating real team building in Salzburg. Shared challenges like these bond people and reveal hidden strengths within the teams.
After exactly two hours all groups returned to the Hotel zum Hirschen on Elisabethstraße for the awards ceremony. The podium was shared by: 1st Flying Hirsche with 250 points, 2nd Salty Six with 230 points and 3rd Salzburg Bulls with 205 points. Congratulations to all teams — the team spirit was the biggest win.
Anyone looking for team building in Salzburg will find our iPad Tour to be a perfect mix of culture, technology and team development. I look forward to the next team building event and to inspiring more groups with the city and its stories.
