Team Building Event KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft

The sunshine stayed with us all afternoon and created a great atmosphere at our Geocaching event on 18 July 2024 at 2:30 PM.

As the team guide, I welcomed 38 participants from KPMG AG Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft at the meeting point on Fuhlentwiete and gave a brief introduction to the schedule. After a short briefing, handing out the tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app and dividing everyone into six teams, the signal was given for an exciting tour through Old Town. The groups explored together but independently — just the right mix of adventure and freedom.

Our Geocaching route took the teams to both well-known and hidden corners of the city: from views of the Elbphilharmonie to the winding alleys of the Speicherstadt and the imposing tower of the main church St. Michaelis. Along the way they solved puzzles, completed creative team tasks and hunted for hidden clues. Points were awarded for correctly solved challenges and good collaboration — playfully creating an intense team building experience in Old Town that promoted team spirit and stronger communication. During the tour I was available by phone in case questions or technical problems came up.

After 2.5 hours all teams met again at the starting point on Fuhlentwiete for the joint awards ceremony. The mood was high as we honored the best performances: the winner was the team Transfer Priceless with 260 points, closely followed by LEDs Feds Gewinnen with 255 points. In third place were the Klauserpreneurs with 240 points — congratulations to all winners and great respect to every team for a fair competition.

Events like this combine fun, challenge and genuine togetherness. Anyone looking for a team building experience in Old Town will find our Geocaching format a short, adventure-packed way to rediscover the city and grow together. As a guide, it was a pleasure to see colleagues laughing, puzzling and supporting one another.

I am already looking forward to the next event in Old Town and to more teams keen on active team building experience in Old Town — see you soon on tour!
