Team Building Event Dr. Bernd Kilimann
The weather was perfect for our iPad Murder Mystery Tour through Tübingen – sunny, pleasant and just right for solving puzzles outdoors. On July 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM I met the 18 participants from the company Dr. Bernd Kilimann at Hotel Krone on Uhlandstraße and welcomed them warmly.
After a short introduction and a tutorial on how to operate the tablets I split the group into three teams. The teams then set off independently on the manhunt: following the digital trail they collected clues, solved puzzles and completed team tasks. Points were awarded for correct answers and creative approaches, which created a friendly competition that was a lot of fun.
Our route took the groups past some of Tübingen’s most beautiful spots: past the Stiftskirche, with views of the Hölderlinturm and the impressive silhouette of Hohentübingen Castle, colleagues were able to rediscover the city. That exact experience is what makes our team building experience in Tübingen so special: learning, laughing and working together in a historic setting.
During the roughly two hours the teams were on their own, though I was reachable by phone at any time in case of technical questions or tricky moments. The combination of iPad technology, clever tasks and the picturesque lanes of Tübingen promotes collaboration and delivers many aha moments – an ideal team building experience in Tübingen.
After exactly two hours everyone met back at Hotel Krone for the awards ceremony. It got exciting: in first place was team Rosaroter Panther with 190 points, closely followed by Die Gummibärenbande also with 190 points – a tight race! Third place went to Die Champions with 140 points. The joy and pride at the prize giving were palpable.
As the team guide I was delighted to see how much energy and team spirit the participants showed. Activities like this create lasting connections between colleagues and make everyday work life a little more lively.
