Team Building Event ViaNobis - Die Chancengeber
Aachen impresses with its vibrant blend of history, culture and unexpected corners – perfect for an active company event.
As a CityHunters team guide I led a Geocaching tour on the marketplace in Aachen on July 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM for ViaNobis - Die Chancengeber. Nine motivated participants met at the central meeting point; we briefly explained the procedure and split the group into two teams. The teams then received tablets with our CityHunters app and set off full of anticipation.
The route took the groups through the heart of the city – past Aachen Cathedral, Aachen City Hall and the Ludwig Forum for International Art – offering plenty of chances to puzzle together, discover clues and complete creative team challenges. During the tour the teams worked independently and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and skillfully completing the tasks.
I remained reachable by phone throughout the game in case of questions or technical issues. The weather cooperated, spirits were high and the teams used the time to coordinate, discuss and bring everyone’s strengths into play. This is precisely the core of our offering: a genuine team building experience in Aachen that is fun and brings people closer together.
After two hours everyone gathered again on the marketplace for the award ceremony. With great applause the winning team Sonnenschein was announced, surprisingly with 0 points, which provoked many laughs and emphasized the team spirit once more. Moments like these show that a team building experience in Aachen is not only about competition but above all about shared experiences and lasting memories.
