Team Building Event Pfalzwerke Aktiengesellschaft
On June 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm I had the pleasure of guiding an iPad Tour for 14 employees of Pfalzwerke Aktiengesellschaft in Berlin as a CityHunters team guide. We met at Schlossplatz, where we warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app — the perfect start to a modern team building experience in Berlin.
The participants were split into three teams and shortly after each group set off on their own. Our iPad Tour combines city exploration with clever puzzles: at various stations teams could earn points by solving tricky challenges and working together on creative team tasks. This playful approach creates a genuine team building experience in Berlin.
The route took the groups through well-known parts of the city – past the Brandenburg Gate, across Museum Island and to the atmospheric squares around the Berlin Cathedral. The mix of history, architecture and digital technology provided plenty to talk about and encouraged exchange among colleagues.
For the two hours the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly contest for the most points. I was available by phone in case of questions or technical issues so the groups could stay focused and fully enjoy the experience. The weather held up, which lifted everyone’s spirits.
At the agreed time everyone met back at Schlossplatz for the award ceremony. In first place was the team Gin & Tonic with 110 points, followed by Dreamteam with 105 points and A-Team with 95 points. The joy over shared successes and little moments of surprise was great — that is exactly what makes for a good team building experience in Berlin.
These iPad Tours are a great way to rediscover Berlin while strengthening team spirit at the same time. For me as a team guide the best moments are when team members suddenly start communicating differently and celebrate successes together. I am already looking forward to the next groups and more exciting hours full of discovery, teamwork and fun in Berlin.
