Team Building Event Robert Bosch Risk and Insurance Management GmbH

The city of Suhl once again showed how much charm and hidden stories it has to offer that afternoon.

As a CityHunters team guide I was able to accompany a Geocaching event for 18 people from Robert Bosch Risk and Insurance Management GmbH on 26 June 2024 at 1:30 pm. The meeting point was the Kreuzkirche, where I welcomed the group, gave a brief rundown of the schedule and got the teams ready to start. After a short briefing and distribution of the necessary materials, three teams set off into the city center — the real team building experience in Suhl had begun.

Using tablets and our app as their guide, the participants explored the city on their own: from the Kreuzkirche they passed sights such as St. Marien, the Suhl Weapons Museum and the Congress Centrum Suhl. The tasks combined genuine puzzle solving and creative team challenges, with each team independently collecting points. In this playful way cohesion was strengthened and the strengths of individual team members became visible.

I was available by phone during the tour in case of questions or technical issues — but more often than not team spirit alone was enough to master the challenges. The weather was perfect, lifting spirits and turning the team building experience in Suhl into an unforgettable occasion.

After exactly two hours all groups gathered back at the Kreuzkirche for the awards ceremony. First place went to Poncho Drei with 300 points, followed by Teamone with 270 points and Team Toll with 240 points. Applause, laughter and little anecdotes from the stations rounded out the finale.

Events like this show that a team building experience in Suhl combines shared experiences, puzzle solving and discovery in a lively way. If you want to see Suhl from a new perspective and bring your team closer together at the same time, a Geocaching event is a fantastic choice. I am already looking forward to the next groups exploring Suhl together — maybe we will meet again at St. Kilian or at the Vehicle Museum!
