Team Building Event Canon Deutschland GmbH
Perfect weather accompanied our iPad Murder Mystery Tour on 25.06.2024 and put everyone in a great mood from the start.
As the team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed the 11 participants from Canon Deutschland GmbH at 10:00 at Theaterplatz in Krefeld. After a brief greeting I explained the game and introduced the iPad app: the map, position indicator and the cases waiting for them at various city stations. Then we split the group into two teams and the investigations could begin.
The teams were on their own during the tour and competed in a friendly contest for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and for team tasks completed together — creativity, speed and good communication were required. The route led colleagues past well-known Krefeld highlights like Haus Lange and Haus Esters, St. Dionysius and the Church of Our Lady, combining playful thrills with the discovery of the city's charming corners.
I was reachable by phone throughout the entire three-hour tour in case any technical or organizational questions arose. The iPads helped teams find the next clues and work through the cases step by step. The mix of digital sleuthing and real-world locations made the tour an intense experience for everyone — a real team building experience in Krefeld that boosts motivation and collaboration.
At the end everyone met again at Theaterplatz for the award ceremony. The team CSI Krefeld took first place with 160 points, closely followed by GSG 08/15 with 150 points. The joy over the shared experiences was great and the positive energy was tangible: exactly what successful team building experience in Krefeld is all about.
