Team Building Event OBV Meerbusch e.V.
The concept of our Murder Mystery Geocaching combines city exploration, puzzle fun and teamwork into a unique experience — exactly what the 19 participants from OBV Meerbusch e.V. got to enjoy on June 21, 2024 at 12:30.
As the team guide I met the group at Grabbeplatz and gave a brief overview of the schedule and the technology: each team received a tablet with our app, which displayed the criminal cases and tasks throughout downtown Düsseldorf. After dividing into four teams the hunt for clues and points began, a typical example of an exciting team building experience in Düsseldorf.
The tour led the teams past well-known sights like the Rheinturm, the Königsallee and the Museum Kunstpalast. Our route turned landmarks into settings for tricky puzzles and creative team challenges. Despite the rather unpleasant weather the teams' energy quickly lifted everyone's spirits: drizzle and fresh air became the perfect backdrop for working together to solve problems and share some laughs.
During the three hours the teams were largely on their own and competed fairly for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and completed team challenges — classic ingredients for a successful team building experience in Düsseldorf. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case any technical questions or task clarifications came up.
After exactly three hours everyone returned to Grabbeplatz where the joint awards ceremony took place. The atmosphere was jubilant when the rankings were announced: the winner was Team Queen with 265 points, followed by Team 3 with 240 points and Team 4 with 200 points. What was particularly impressive was how the participants' different strengths contributed to the success, a real boost for the team spirit.
The Murder Mystery Geocaching once again showed how well fun, discovery and collaboration can be combined. For OBV Meerbusch e.V. a rainy afternoon turned into a lively experience full of energy and team spirit.
