Team Building Event CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA
On June 19 I had the pleasure of guiding a fantastic Geocaching event for CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA in Rastede as a CityHunters team guide. At 2:00 PM sharp, 35 participants gathered in front of Rastede Castle, our starting point for an exciting adventure. After a brief welcome and introduction the groups were formed: six teams set off to solve puzzles and tackle challenges together during the team building experience in Rastede.
The weather cooperated, the atmosphere was great, and the route led the teams through the town's most charming corners. During the team building experience in Rastede colleagues discovered the town in a new way: between the castle park, St. Ulrich's Church and other sights creativity, problem solving and cooperation were required. The tasks combined brainteasers with practical team challenges, providing lots of laughs and memorable moments.
Over the three hours the teams were mostly on their own, competing in friendly rivalry for the highest score. As the team guide I remained reachable and available by phone for questions, so small uncertainties could be cleared up quickly without disrupting the flow of the game.
After exactly three hours everyone met again in front of Rastede Castle for the awards ceremony. The excitement was tangible: in the end Team Uno claimed victory with 360 points. Team Brille also scored 360 points and took second place, and Team 4 Lebt completed the podium with 330 points. The teams in first to third place received well-deserved medals and enjoyed many enthusiastic photos.
This Geocaching format is an ideal combination of exploration, competition and a true team experience. The team building experience in Rastede is not just about the fun of the game but also about experiencing special places together and strengthening the sense of togetherness. It was a joy to see how colleagues became real teams in such a short time.
