Team Building Event Continental AG
The event concept blends modern technology with playful competition and a focused team building experience: our iPad Tour in Hanover makes that possible. On 18 June 2024 at 4:00 p.m. I had the pleasure of welcoming 26 participants from Continental AG at Opernplatz as a CityHunters team guide and introducing them to this interactive urban adventure.
After a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app, we split the group into four teams. Each team received an iPad as their central hub, loaded with interactive puzzles, team tasks and a live scoreboard. What began as a city walk turned into an exciting competition and genuine team building experience in Hanover.
The teams then set off across the city center on their own, discovering well-known sights such as the New Town Hall, the Market Church and the Leineschloss. At various stops they needed keen observation, creativity and cooperation. The challenges required both brains and communication skills — the perfect mix for a lasting team building experience in Hanover.
The weather proved a bit challenging but added atmosphere and extra motivation: umbrellas, great team spirit and lots of smiling faces turned the Tour into an intense shared experience. I remained reachable by phone throughout the route in case any technical question or puzzle became tricky.
After two hours all teams returned to Opernplatz for a joint awards ceremony. The mood was fantastic as the winning team received medals — a proud moment for colleagues and a lovely finale to our team building event.
The iPad Tour in Hanover combines cutting-edge technology with local discovery while strengthening camaraderie. As a team guide it is always moving to see participants bring their strengths, cheer one another on and find solutions together. The team building experience in Hanover is not only fun but stays with people long after the day is over.
I am already looking forward to the next city adventure and to more groups who want to get to know Hanover in this interactive way.
