Team Building Event Diakonisches Werk Hannover gGmbH
Hanover repeatedly shows its lively, multifaceted side – the perfect setting for a spirited team building event.
As a team guide for CityHunters, I welcomed 47 participants from Diakonischen Werks Hanover gGmbH at Trammplatz on June 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM. After a brief introduction, the group was split into seven teams and given orientation notes along with the game app. That was the start of our Murder Mystery Geocaching tour: modern technology meets adventure, and before long colleagues had become enthusiastic investigators.
The teams set off on their own, exploring Hanover city center and visiting familiar landmarks like the New Town Hall, the Market Church and the Leineschloss. Over the two hours they competed for the highest score by solving puzzles, mastering team challenges and piecing together clues. I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case of questions or technical issues.
The weather played along, and the atmosphere was focused and cheerful at the same time. It was easy to see how shared challenges strengthen working relationships. A team building experience in Hanover means puzzling together, laughing and celebrating successes. Many teams took the chance to see Hanover from a new angle and to spot hidden details in well-known places.
After two hours all groups returned to Trammplatz for the debrief and award ceremony. On the top of the podium was the team Sieben Zwerge with 150 points. In second place came Fridas Spürnasen with 120 points, followed by FC Streifenhörnchen also with 120 points. The winners received well-deserved medals and plenty of applause.
This event once again showed how well hands-on experience and learning can be combined. Whether colleagues discovered new sides of each other or simply shared a memorable day, our Murder Mystery Geocaching remains a real highlight for a team building experience in Hanover. I already look forward to the next discovery tours through Hanover and more (equally fun) team building experiences in Hanover.
