Team Building Event NKD Group GmbH
The seven participants from NKD Group GmbH met promptly at Marienplatz, ready for an exciting morning full of puzzles and shared discoveries.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the group on June 14, 2024 at 10:30 am and gave a short introduction to the schedule. After a brief briefing the participants were split into two teams and handed tablets with our app, the heart of Murder Mystery Geocaching. The app guided the teams to various crime scenes around Würzburg, where tricky tasks and team puzzles awaited.
Along their route the teams discovered well-known sights such as the Würzburg Residence, the Old Main Bridge and the Marienberg Fortress from a new perspective. The mix of city exploration and detective work turned the experience into a unique and highly engaging team building experience. Communication, creativity and teamwork were repeatedly required to interpret clues and solve tasks correctly.
During the roughly three-hour tour the teams were on their own and competed in friendly rivalry for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team challenges. I was reachable by phone the entire time in case support was needed, but I deliberately stayed in the background so the groups could play to their strengths.
The weather cooperated wonderfully, keeping the atmosphere light and cheerful — ideal conditions for a genuine team building experience in Würzburg. You could really feel how the shared puzzling and short exploration breaks fostered collaboration and lifted everyone's spirits.
After three hours everyone met back at Marienplatz for the award ceremony. The winning team Ecom, with 135 points, was celebrated to great applause and the successful team members received well-deserved medals. Moments like these show how lasting Murder Mystery Geocaching can be as a team building event.
A team building experience in Würzburg can bring so much joy: excitement, shared experiences and fresh insights into the city. It was a wonderful day for all involved and a lovely example of how solving puzzles together strengthens team spirit and creates lasting memories.
