Team Building Event BFE
Oldenburg beautifully blends historic façades with a lively city center atmosphere – a wonderful setting for urban adventures and team building.
As a CityHunters team guide I accompanied an iPad Tour for the company BFE on June 14, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. Around 50 colleagues met me in the parking lot behind BFE on Donnerschweer Straße, where I welcomed them and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and our CityHunters app. The excitement was tangible as participants were split into eight teams and the high-tech Scavenger Hunt got under way.
Our route took the groups across Oldenburg: past Oldenburg Castle, St. Lambert's Church and the Oldenburg State Theater, revealing not only beautiful corners of the city but also unlocking exciting challenges. The iPad Tour in Oldenburg combines city discovery with interactive puzzles and creative team tasks – the perfect recipe for a lasting team building experience in Oldenburg.
Throughout the roughly three-hour tour the teams operated independently, competing in a fair contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, successful team tasks and clever strategies. I remained reachable by phone the whole time to help with questions or technical issues – usually a short hint was enough to get teams back in the game.
The weather held up, the atmosphere was great, and the focus was clearly on fun, shared creativity and strengthening collaboration. The mix of modern technology, local sights and lively challenges is what makes our team building experience in Oldenburg so special: it brings colleagues together, has them solve problems as a group and creates lasting memories.
After exactly three hours everyone reconvened in the parking lot behind BFE for the awards ceremony. A brief look back at the highlights and enthusiastic applause for the winners brought a thoroughly successful event to a close.
