Team Building Event Kaltwasser Kommunikation GmbH
Altdorf bei Nürnberg delights with its historic charm and provides the perfect setting for shared discovery and playful learning.
As a CityHunters team guide I welcomed a group of 20 colleagues from Kaltwasser Kommunikation GmbH on June 12, 2024 at 3:00 pm for an exciting Geocaching event. The meeting point was the Oberer Markt — central, inviting and an ideal starting point for our team building experience in Altdorf bei Nürnberg. After a short introduction we explained the format, split the group into three teams and handed out tablets with the preinstalled CityHunters app, which guided the teams safely through the tasks.
The route led the teams to well-known spots in Altdorf bei Nürnberg, past the Evangelical Lutheran parish church St. Lorenz and the Löwengrube, up to the imposing Church of the Most Holy Trinity. Along the way the teams faced varied puzzles and creative team tasks: cracking codes, piecing together clues and tackling small challenges that tested both team spirit and powers of observation. During the tour the groups were largely on their own, competing in friendly rivalry for the most points. I was, of course, reachable by phone in case any questions or problems came up.
The weather cooperated and the mood was fantastic — this is exactly what a team building experience in Altdorf bei Nürnberg is all about. After exactly three hours everyone regrouped at the Oberer Markt for the awards ceremony. Excitement hung in the air as the points were tallied: first place went to team Sonnenblume with 360 points. Close behind were Kaltwasser sharks and Mann:schafft with 345 points each. The winning team received well-deserved medals and hearty applause from their colleagues.
Events like this combine adventure, sightseeing and collaboration in a direct, lasting way. Anyone looking to experience a team building experience in Altdorf bei Nürnberg will be surprised how much shared tasks bring people together — whether solving puzzles at the Pflegamt-Altdorf facade or pausing at the Teufelshöhle info. As a guide, it was once again a great pleasure to see how open, creative and committed everyone was.
