Team Building Event Chamäleon Reisen GmbH
Our event concept combines urban exploration, tricky puzzles and genuine team spirit into an exciting Murder Mystery Geocaching experience.
On June 5, 2024 at 4:00 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 27 participants from Chamäleon Reisen GmbH at the Palais am Festungsgraben as their team guide. After a brief introduction the participants were divided into five teams and equipped with tablets — the heart of our app that displayed the investigation cases, crime scenes and tasks across the city.
Then Mitte revealed itself in all its facets as we went along: stops took the teams near the Brandenburg Gate, past Museum Island and by the Berlin Cathedral. The combination of technology and adventure made clear why this format works so well for a team building experience in Mitte: solving puzzles, collecting clues and making decisions together strengthens cohesion and creates a lot of fun.
During the roughly two hour tour the teams were on their own and competed in a friendly contest for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. I stayed reachable by phone in case questions or problems arose — a quick call was enough to provide support and keep motivation high.
The weather held up reasonably well and helped create a pleasant atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable. It quickly became apparent that the shared search for clues released energy and sparked conversations that went far beyond the game. That is exactly what makes our Murder Mystery Geocaching an ideal form of team building experience in Mitte.
When the game time ended all teams met again at the Palais am Festungsgraben for the awards ceremony. During the final debrief there was celebration, cheering and reflection — it was especially rewarding to see how creatively the teams had approached the cases and how much their team spirit had grown.
For me as a team guide it was a thoroughly successful afternoon: full of tension, motivating and filled with shared moments of success. Anyone looking to experience a team building experience in Mitte will find exactly the right mix of city discovery, puzzle fun and mutual support here.
