Team Building Event Beiersdorf AG
The weather today was simply perfect – sunshine, a light breeze and great spirits for our Geocaching afternoon in Old Town on June 5, 2024 at 1:30 PM.
As the CityHunters team guide I welcomed the nine participants from Beiersdorf AG at Jungfernstieg. After a brief greeting and introduction we split the group into two teams. I explained the procedure handed out the tablets with the CityHunters app and went over the rules and the first clues. That is how our lively team building experience in Old Town began.
Then the group set off: the teams worked independently hunted coordinates and solved puzzles that led them to well known and hidden spots around the city. It was wonderful to see colleagues support one another find creative solutions and motivate each other. Along the way we came across charming corners of the Speicherstadt impressive architecture near the Elbphilharmonie and the distinctive silhouette of the main church St. Michaelis — typical spots that make a team building experience in Old Town special.
The competition was tangible: points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles and successful team tasks. Tension rose when tricky challenges appeared and the joy at every success was huge. During the tour I was reachable by phone for all teams in case questions or technical problems arose — a quick hint was often enough to get the experience back on track.
After three intense hours everyone met again at Jungfernstieg for the joint award ceremony. In a short review surrounded by many smiling faces it became clear: the event had not only sparked sporting ambition but above all strengthened team cohesion. Geocaching is more than a Scavenger Hunt — it is an interactive experience that promotes knowledge communication and trust.
