Team Building Event BAT Germany GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of leading an iPad Tour on June 4, 2024 at 5:00 PM for five colleagues from BAT Germany GmbH. The meeting point was Schmilinskystraße in Timmendorfer Strand, where I greeted the group and gave a brief introduction to using the iPads and the CityHunters app. The mood was excited and full of anticipation — a wonderful start to an intense team building experience in Timmendorfer Strand.
After the briefing the tour began. We split the group into two teams, handed out the iPads and explained the rules. Participants navigated the town independently, solved puzzles and tackled creative team challenges. Along the route we passed familiar spots and sights such as the Waldkirche, St. Paulus and the lively promenade — ideal backdrops for our tasks. The combination of modern technology and local impressions made the experience particularly engaging.
During the tour the teams were completely on their own and competed for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and for working together on tasks that demanded observation, communication and spontaneity. I remained reachable by phone the whole time in case any questions or technical issues came up — keeping the groups safe and motivated on their way.
The weather was pleasant and invited active exploration; a few clouds only made the sun look even nicer later on. That slight freshness matched the pace of the tour and added to the good spirits. It was exactly the right mix of outdoor adventure and teamwork that makes a team building experience in Timmendorfer Strand so special.
After two hours everyone met back at the starting point on Schmilinskystraße for the award ceremony. There was a joyful atmosphere when the group came together, and as a small highlight each participant received a personalized certificate as a memento of the successful afternoon. The team building experience in Timmendorfer Strand showed itself at its best that evening — full of fun, exchanging ideas and new impressions of Timmendorfer Strand.
