Team Building Event Miske & Loeck Assekuranz Makler GmbH

The Murder Mystery Geocaching event combines suspense, puzzles and urban adventure into a memorable experience for any company, and I had the pleasure of guiding this concept in Old Town on 31 May 2024 as a team guide.

At 9:00 a.m. 25 eager participants from Miske & Loeck Assekuranz Makler GmbH met at the back of the main church St. Petri. After a brief introduction to the format and the technology, I split the group into four teams. Each team received a tablet with our app as their central investigative tool.

The route led all around the city, bringing the teams to a string of new locations where they searched for clues and solved tricky puzzles. Along the way the groups passed familiar sights, from the Elbphilharmonie vibe to the historic alleys of the Speicherstadt and the striking Chilehaus. In this way urban exploration became an active team building experience in Old Town.

During the three hours the teams operated independently and competed in a friendly contest for the highest score. Points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing team tasks. I was reachable by phone to provide quick support with questions or technical issues.

The weather showed its rough side, but that did not dampen spirits: rain and fresh air actually strengthened cohesion, kept the mood light and created unforgettable moments that fostered genuine team building experience in Old Town. The challenges were met with energy and good humor.

After exactly three hours all teams returned to the back of the main church St. Petri for the awards ceremony. The winning team The Best emerged as the victor to everyone's delight and received medals in a celebratory moment of recognition and shared pride.

This Murder Mystery Geocaching was once again a successful example of how play, urban discovery and collaboration can work together. For all participants it was a lively, positive experience and a powerful team building experience in Old Town that will resonate for a long time.
