Team Building Event DekaBank
The 19 participants from DekaBank set off full of curiosity and good spirits for our Geocaching event in Wiesbaden.
As the team guide I welcomed the group punctually at 4:00 PM on Platter Str. and gave a short introduction to the schedule and rules. After a brief briefing and dividing into three teams, we equipped each group with tablets on which the preinstalled CityHunters app provided all tasks and coordinates.
Then it began: the team building experience in Wiesbaden came alive as the teams set off independently to explore the city center. Our route led to well-known sights such as the Marktkirche, the Hessian State Theatre Wiesbaden, and the Russian Orthodox Church — places that proved perfect as stages for puzzles and team challenges. Each team competed in good spirits, earning points for correctly solving puzzles and creatively completing tasks.
During the tour the groups were largely on their own but could call me by phone at any time — I was reachable throughout to help with questions or technical issues. This mix of independent exploration and reliable support created exactly what makes the team building experience in Wiesbaden so special: shared challenges, mutual support, and many aha moments.
The weather was on our side and provided pleasant conditions that kept spirits bright and energy high. The atmosphere was full of laughter, lively collaboration, and discovering new perspectives on the city.
After three hours all teams regrouped at the starting point on Platter Str. for the awards ceremony. At the closing gathering we celebrated the top performances and shared little anecdotes — a perfect moment to share successes and reflect on the experience. The team building experience in Wiesbaden thus ended on a successful, unifying note.
For me as the guide this afternoon remains a vivid, warm event in memory: exciting, supportive of team spirit, and a great example of how Geocaching in Wiesbaden brings colleagues closer together.
