Team Building Event Verband der Vereine Creditreform e.V.
Attendorn delights with its mix of a lively town center and historic treasures, a perfect setting for our Geocaching event.
As a CityHunters team guide, I welcomed 24 participants from the Verband der Vereine Creditreform e.V. in front of the Hansehotel Attendorn on 24 May 2024 at 11:00. After a brief introduction and handing out tablets loaded with the CityHunters app, the participants were split into four teams and set off excitedly. From the start you could feel the anticipation for a shared adventure and a genuine team building experience in Attendorn.
The route led the groups to several of the town’s landmarks. Between stops at the Atta-Höhle, the Südsauerlandmuseum and St. Johannes Baptist, competitive spirit quickly flared: points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and successfully completing creative team tasks. The teams were mostly on their own and free to choose their strategies — I remained reachable by phone throughout the route for questions or small hints.
The weather cooperated and the mood was both lively and focused. It’s always wonderful to see individuals become a strong team: communication, creativity and shared laughter were at the forefront. That is exactly what makes a team building experience in Attendorn so valuable — playful learning, enjoyment of working together and a fresh perspective on the town.
After three hours all teams met again in front of the Hansehotel for the award ceremony. The finale was a cheerful exchange about the best solutions, the most unusual ideas and the nicest discoveries along the way. In the end the winning team was Team Laser Explosion Secret Fan Club, a great finish to a successful event.
Geocaching in Attendorn combines adventure, discovery and sustainable team building experience. For me as a guide it is always a special pleasure to lead groups through this charming town and watch their sense of togetherness grow. Anyone who wants to rediscover Attendorn should definitely try this form of team building experience at least once.
