Team Building Event Deutsche Post AG
Bad Hönningen is a charming town on the Rhine, full of historic corners and a distinct atmosphere waiting to be discovered.
On May 16, 2024 at 3:15 PM I had the pleasure of welcoming 24 colleagues from Deutsche Post AG as a CityHunters team guide at Schloss Arenfels. After a brief introduction and splitting into five teams, each group received a tablet with our app and an explanation of how things would work — and so our lively team building experience in Bad Hönningen began.
The teams set off through the town center, guided by coordinates and tasks that led them in short stages to well-known sights and hidden spots. Whether enjoying the view from Hohes Haus, mentally diving into the RömerWelt, or looking toward Bad Breisig, there was plenty to discover and solve. The mix of navigation, puzzles and creative team tasks produced lots of laughs and aha moments.
During the tour the groups moved independently and competed in a friendly way for the most points. Points were awarded for correctly solved puzzles, smooth collaboration and original solutions to the team tasks. I stayed reachable by phone throughout in case questions or small issues came up — but most of the time the teams’ good spirits and shared motivation were all that was needed.
The weather cooperated, so the mood was relaxed and sunny. After about two hours everyone met back at Schloss Arenfels for the big reunion: time for the awards, applause for creative achievements and a few personal highlights from the groups. Moments like these show how effective a team building experience in Bad Hönningen can be — it brings people together, strengthens cooperation and creates lasting memories.
