Team Building Event Envases Öhringen GmbH
As a CityHunters team guide, I had the pleasure of leading a Geocaching event for 25 employees of Envases Öhringen GmbH in Öhringen on May 15, 2024 at 4:15 PM. Meeting point was Otto-Meister-Straße — a central spot where the anticipation was already noticeable. The weather cooperated, which boosted the mood even more.
After a warm welcome, we briefly explained the schedule, handed out the materials and gave an overview of the app and the rules. Participants were divided into five teams and received a short briefing so everyone could start the competition well prepared. During the tour I remained reachable by phone in case any questions or minor issues came up.
Then the group set off: a team building experience in Öhringen in its purest form. The teams were on their own and competed for the highest score. What mattered was clever problem solving, quick teamwork and creativity — points were awarded for correctly solving puzzles and completing team tasks. In the process, participants discovered the city in a playful way and noticed corners that are easily overlooked.
Along the route there were several charming stops that invited astonishment: the Stiftskirche Öhringen with its impressive architecture, the Motor and Glass Museum Öhringen as a technical and cultural highlight, and the Kollegiatstift Öhringen, which offered a short history lesson. Such stops combine sightseeing with clever challenges — ideal for a team building experience in Öhringen.
After about 2 hours and 15 minutes all teams met again at Otto-Meister-Straße for the awards ceremony. The tension was high when the results were announced: the winning team was rost y cans and they deservedly received medals to celebrate their success, much to the delight of everyone involved.
The friendly competition, the joint problem solving and the many laughs once again showed how effective and entertaining a team building experience in Öhringen can be. Participants left visibly closer and with fresh impressions heading into the evening.
