Team Building Event Maximilian Training und Coaching
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming a great group from Maximilian Training and Coaching to Freiburg im Breisgau on April 26, 2024 at 3:15 PM. Ten participants met me at the town hall square where I gave a brief introduction to the game and the app and covered the final organizational details. After a friendly split into two teams everyone set off with a tablet and the CityHunters app, and this is how our special team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau begins.
The tour led the teams through the charming city center of Freiburg im Breisgau. At stops near the Freiburg Minster, the Martinstor and the Historical Merchants' Hall they had to solve puzzles, combine clues and complete creative team challenges. The tasks varied and required communication, creativity and mutual trust, typical elements of successful team building experiences. I remained reachable by phone throughout in case anyone needed help or a technical hint.
Despite less-than-perfect weather the mood was fantastic: umbrellas, laughter and the teams' focused faces created a highly motivating atmosphere. The changeable weather did not dampen the dynamics; on the contrary it made the shared experience even more intense and the small everyday moments along the way turned into bonding experiences. This is team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau at its most exciting.
After about two and a half hours the two teams returned to the town hall square for the joint awards ceremony. Tension ran high as the points for correctly solved puzzles and successfully completed team tasks were added up. During the follow-up exchange about solutions and surprising moments it became clear how much the colleagues had grown: collaboration and mutual appreciation were at the centre of everything, exactly what matters in any good team building experience in Freiburg im Breisgau.
Geocaching events like this offer an excellent opportunity to rediscover a city while strengthening team spirit. It was a pleasure to accompany Maximilian Training and Coaching on this journey of discovery and to see how much energy and fun a shared challenge can bring. I am already looking forward to the next adventure in the beautiful city of Freiburg im Breisgau.
