Team Building Event NTT DATA Deutschland SE
The event concept blends a fascinating mix of history, culture and cutting-edge technology — exactly what we experienced on our iPad Tour in Herrsching am Ammersee.
On April 24, 2024 at 6:30 pm I welcomed 13 participants from NTT DATA Deutschland SE at the station in Herrsching am Ammersee. After a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, colleagues were warmly greeted and split into two teams — perfect for our active team building experience in Herrsching am Ammersee.
The task was simple: explore the town on your own, discover sights and score as many points as possible. The tour took the teams past St. Martin, Villa Sturm and along the lakeside promenade, always accompanied by interactive puzzles and creative team challenges. In this way, exploring became playful learning and an ideal team building experience in Herrsching am Ammersee.
During the 1.5-hour Scavenger Hunt the groups were self-organized and competing. Points were awarded for correctly solved tasks, quick decisions and creative collaboration. The CityHunters app displayed interim scores and provided extra motivation — technology and team spirit were a perfect match.
The weather wasn't entirely on our side, but that actually added to the atmosphere: a fresh breeze, a few raindrops and lots of laughter as everyone tinkered together. The challenge kept everyone alert and encouraged spontaneous bonding — what started as a light shower became a shared experience that brought the group even closer.
I was reachable by phone throughout the tour and assisted when needed with hints or technical questions. After 90 minutes everyone met back at the station for the awards ceremony. The joy over shared successes and the relaxed atmosphere were the focus — an ideal finish for a successful team building event.
The iPad Tour once again showed how much fun and lasting team cohesion modern city exploration can bring. A team building experience in Herrsching am Ammersee can be playful, energizing and positive — an evening that all participants will remember for a long time.
