Team Building Event BIO-TECH Betriebshygiene GmbH
Rosenheim delights with its lively town center and a wealth of sights waiting to be discovered.
As a CityHunters team guide I had the pleasure of welcoming a group of 21 colleagues from BIO-TECH Betriebshygiene GmbH on April 19, 2024. We met at the St. Nicholas Church at 2:00 pm, exchanged a brief greeting and went over the main details for the day. To get started there was a short introduction, distribution of tablets with the CityHunters app and the formation of four teams.
Then it was on: a team building experience in Rosenheim that was active and playful. The teams set off to explore the city on their own, competing for the most points. Points were awarded for solving puzzles correctly and for team tasks completed together, so creativity, communication and powers of observation were all needed. I was available by phone throughout the tour in case any questions or small problems came up.
The route led through well-known corners of Rosenheim and offered both fun and culture: stops such as the Lokschuppen Rosenheim, the Inn Museum and the city parish church of St. Nicholas provided variety and interesting background stories. Even the local legend surrounding the Rosenheim haunting sparked conversation and good spirits.
The weather was quite pleasant and suited our pace perfectly — not too hot, comfortable for walking and ideal for enjoying the city. Those conditions add a lot to the shared experience and make a genuine team building experience in Rosenheim possible: people get to know each other anew, laugh together and tackle tasks as a team.
After three hours all groups met again at the St. Nicholas Church for the awards ceremony. The winning team was Team Biotech Grün with 0 points and they were celebrated with medals. The ceremonial handover was a lovely end to an active afternoon full of team spirit.
