Team Building Event BayWa r.e. AG
The weather was perfect for our adventure through Old Town – sunshine and good spirits accompanied the group from the start.
As the CityHunters team guide, I welcomed a group of 13 employees from BayWa r.e. AG at the meeting point on Residenzstraße on March 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM. After a brief introduction to the format and a quick tutorial on the CityHunters app, the teams received their tablets and got ready for the tour.
The group split into two teams and off they went: Geocaching, tricky puzzles and creative team tasks led participants across the city centre. This turned team building experience in Old Town into a truly hands-on moment – everyone contributed their strengths to the shared success, and the friendly competition provided plenty of motivation.
While the teams solved the tasks on their own, familiar city landmarks stood by as silent witnesses: the Residenz, the iconic Frauenkirche and the lively area around the New Town Hall gave the tour its own charm. A detour near the German Museum was also part of the varied discoveries. This mix of sights and hidden corners makes team building experience in Old Town so special.
The points hunt rewarded correct answers and successful team challenges; at the same time I was reachable by phone as a guide in case technical questions or organizational issues came up. That kept the atmosphere relaxed and secure, and the teams could focus fully on puzzles and communication.
After three hours everyone met back at the starting point on Residenzstraße for the awards ceremony. At the final gathering it was clear how much the shared challenge had brought the team closer together. Laughter, pride in what had been achieved and the exchange about surprising solutions made the moment memorable.
Geocaching with CityHunters is a playful and sustainable form of team building experience in Old Town: active, experience-oriented and perfect for bringing colleagues together in new ways. I already look forward to the next adventure in this wonderful city.
