Team Building Event Erzbistum Köln
Our iPad Tour concept combines modern technology with playful discovery and strengthens team spirit in a lively way.
As a CityHunters team guide, on March 21, 2024 I led an iPad Tour for 10 people from the Archdiocese of Cologne in Bergisch Gladbach. We met at St. Laurentius Church, where I warmly welcomed the group, gave a brief introduction to the iPads and the CityHunters app, and split the participants into two teams. Excitement was palpable — a perfect start for a real team building experience in Bergisch Gladbach.
The teams set off to explore the town center on their own. Our challenges combine puzzles, observation questions, and creative team tasks that earn points for correct answers. During the tour, participants passed well-known spots like Villa Zanders and the Kieppemühle, which repeatedly served as an inspiring backdrop. The app displayed the scores in real time and encouraged strategic play and strong collaboration — ideal conditions for a sustainable team building experience in Bergisch Gladbach.
As the guide, I remained reachable by phone in case of technical questions or clarifications about the tasks. The teams tackled the challenges independently, supported one another, and got to know each other better in the process. The friendly competition brought plenty of laughter, focused moments, and real Aha moments — exactly the mix that makes team building events special.
After two and a half hours everyone met back at the starting point, St. Laurentius Church, for the joint awards ceremony. The weather cooperated, the mood was upbeat, and people exchanged enthusiastic impressions about the tour. In retrospect it was clear: it wasn’t just about points, but about the shared experience and the team dynamics.
This iPad Tour once again showed how well city exploration, technology, and playful learning can be combined. Those looking for a team building experience in Bergisch Gladbach will find that our format offers an effective and entertaining way to bring colleagues closer together — lively, interactive, and sustainable.
