Team Building Event Bundeswehr
Koblenz links the Rhine and the Moselle — a city steeped in history that is perfect for active city exploration.
On 04.03.2024 at 1:00 PM I had the pleasure of guiding an iPad Tour for 24 participants from the Bundeswehr in this lively city. The meeting point was Josef-Görres-Platz, where I warmly welcomed the group and gave a brief introduction to the iPads and our CityHunters app. The 24 participants were quickly split into 4 teams, each given an iPad as the starting point for the high-tech Scavenger Hunt.
The tour playfully combined culture and teamwork: teams wandered through the heart of Koblenz, discovered corners around the Deutsches Eck with the Kaiser-Wilhelm monument, admired Ehrenbreitstein Fortress from a distance and passed St. Kastor. For the most part the teams were on their own, competing in a friendly contest for the most points.
Points were earned by correctly solving puzzles and completing team tasks — strategic thinking, communication and creativity were all required. The CityHunters app supported the groups with real-time information, scoreboards and motivating feedback, while I remained reachable by phone throughout the tour in case anyone needed help.
The weather was fairly good and the mild conditions added to the positive experience: ideal for tackling the tasks with energy and enjoying the city. You could feel the fun and momentum a good team building event creates — that is exactly what makes the team building experience in Koblenz so special.
After about three hours all teams reconvened at Josef-Görres-Platz for the awards ceremony. The atmosphere was jubilant, the winning team celebrated, and all participants left with a noticeably strengthened sense of togetherness. Moments like these show how effective the team building experience in Koblenz can be.
For me as a guide it was a successful afternoon: a mix of discovery, problem-solving and shared achievement. Anyone who wants to experience team building in Koblenz can combine play, technology and the city's fascinating sights into a lasting positive memory.
